More Than Great Grooming

People don't remember every haircut.

They remember how you made them feel.

One of our Regional Managers, Jamie Conner Welch, often shares a story that perfectly captures what Let's Groom is all about.

For nearly seven years, Jamie groomed a tiny Pomeranian named Jack Jack. Over time, she built more than a relationship with a client—she became part of their extended family.

She celebrated milestones with them.

She checked in when Jack Jack wasn't feeling well.

She sent funny pictures after appointments just to make them smile.

She remembered the little things that mattered.

None of those moments were required.

They weren't written in a handbook.

They simply came from genuinely caring.

When Jack Jack eventually passed away, one of the first people his family reached out to was Jamie.

Not because she gave the best haircut.

But because she had earned their trust.

To honor Jack Jack, Jamie planted trees in the San Bernardino National Forest and sent his family a memorial gift.

That story isn't about one extraordinary act.

It's about hundreds of small moments that built a relationship over seven years.
